Storytelling is known to be the oldest form of teaching and learning. It helped in the bondation of the early human communities, giving answers to the children to their biggest questions of creation, life, and the afterlife. Stories teach us, shape us, control us, and make us. Every culture has their own individual story. Not every human culture in the world is literate, but every single culture tells stories.
As an NGO, our initiative of Community Story Telling Programme visions to create an environment where children and elders bond together for a particular event. By the medium of storytelling, we would encourage our children to be creative and innovative in all spheres of life to create a conducive social environment.

When we were kids, we like to hear or read stories through various mediums, like comics or different story books, etc. As we grow older, we watch movies and plays which is yet another medium of storytelling. Thereby in every age we relish listening or watching stories. These stories have a profound effect on our lives. It inspires us in many ways and relates to our daily lives. We also learn lot of good things from stories which mostly we do inculcate in our lives.
At this age of progressed and educated environment, there are lot of issues social or political which created various opinions. It is very important for our children to be free of all bondages and opinions, thereby creating their own by the freedom of expression, creativity and innovation we learn through beautiful stories.
Story telling is an expression of freedom to think and recreate it in our lives, to be used in the best way possible for enhancement of creative minds. We as an NGO, feels that the bond which we are trying to create by Community Story Telling Programme will have a long last effect on our society.
